During the summer, Zeuss wears his tie-died scarf, with his certification hanging from it (and a neat little button Speedy & I made that sorta looks like Zeussie on it too.) I wear shorts & a tee shirt (pushing Speedy's manual is a nice workout on hot summer days!) - Zeuss would probably MELT if we had him wear a backpack during the summer for 12 hours of fair-going. In about another month or so, we'll switch back to his winter uniform, his red pack with "Certified Service Dog" on it. I think we'll put a "Certified Service Dog" marking on his scarf, as well, just to help solve this potential problem; I see it as a PEOPLE problem, not a dog problem (People who don't know the law, can durn well LEARN it before trying to enforce it, IMHO :-) And I'm sorta surprised at the PPPP Director calling him not dressed, as he did have his scarf on! (The colors do SORT of merge into his coloring, but purple, green, and yellow don't blend in with red dog fur THAT well!!) Next year, let's take over the Terry Stokes adult shows just after the fair. Or at least all attend. Pretty wonderfully funny!

How was the demo on Saturday? Larry and Dana are out hunting, so I've not heard. We did talk about your situation at class today (Ronda, Fran, Doug and I), and came to the conclusion that Speedy has such a hard time because YOU are pushing her chair... if she were just in her electric, and by herself, or just in her electric, then people would understand why Zeuss is there. :) Tell her that she's just gonna have to grin and explain until she can get her wheelchair up and going again.

As for Jeanne Hampl, well, she absolutely HATES the fact that I use a pinch on Tyler, but my wrists can't handle a regular choke collar. :) Don't worry about her, just letting you know. I didn't realize his tag was also on the scarf. Suggestion, get a RED scarf (or blue), and put SERVICE ANIMAL (or DOG) on it, like Fran has on the scarf for Bear. :)

I hear there is a dog romping area on Mercer Island (Luther Burbank Park) as well as the better known one in the Marymoor Park area. MUCH closer! We'll try to take Zeuss there someday soon, he needs to play more :)

I think they all went to the leash free area.

CH is back up, so I imagine that JJ and/or Speedy will find time to post fairly soon.

Would be nice if CH and MEM would net... and I set up the netting just like TLC, so I haven't the foggest idea what the problem is.

I know that CH tries calling MEM and never connects. JJ suggested watching both ends at once in debug mode during a net attempt. it could be something as simple as nonexistent initials/PW. but it's moot as long as they've got CH's 486DLC hooked up with the 486DX and they're both playing Doom at once. I'd suggest calling and haranguing them about the net problem.. I'd go down there myself, if my car were working right now. argh.
