The Gatherum was a collection of interesting stuff that other folks had created about the EQ world -- for example, a cute little ditty called "Pini Elves" which was sung to the tune of "Jingle Bells." It was produced somewhere in the realm of issue 10 of the original series. Virtually nobody can draw elves as well as Wendi ever. But that's okay.

I think this thing with breaking up the Wolfriders is a bad idea. It is unfortunate that ElfQuest is getting worse in its old age. Issue 16 of the Hidden Years was REALLY bad. As was issue 9 of Blood of Ten Chiefs. It was a pathetic attempt to combine two of the stories from the original Blood Of Ten Chiefs books. Whoever did issue 9 should be dragged into the street and shot.

I was nauseated by Blood of Ten Chiefs (the anthology, just incase somebody made it graphic since then) number 1. It was in that time frame that I lost interest in the whole thing because all the things they'd done before that were so principled were just turning out to be things that they would have done if they could have gotten away with it. Now they can and they are. Barf.
