Sounds good, I will d/l it when I get the chance.
Psycho
Here's the scene I want to see in the movie:
The Enterprise-D cruises through space. Data, sitting smartly at his station pipes up:
"Captain, sensors are picking up a massive psychic presence at extreme range. According to preliminary data, the presence is roughly twice the size of the Dyson sphere where we encountered Captain Scott. Additionally, the presence seems to be large enough that it generates its own gravity well"
Picard sits forward in his chair with his "Oho, a mystery. Let's solve it" expression and orders the expendable ensign to take the ship closer so that they may study it. Riker, ever vigiliant, orders Worf to raise shields, which Worf had programmed to go up if he just looked at the controls funny (A true warrior is never surprised). Meanwhile Data studies the sensor readouts. Deanna moans and clutches her head as they get closer
"Ahh, I sense great smugness, and and almost God-like self-image. I...I...AAHH!" Thankfully, she passes out. At that instant Geordi appears on the bridge for no other reason that its about time to have most of the cast on the bridge because it's photogenic to. Deftly, he transferrs control of engineering to the bridge.
All eyes (and 1 VISOR) are on Deanna, except for Data,
"Captain, I am picking up a Federation type starship at the exact center of the anolmaly. Transpoder code indicates the USS Enterprise" Data pauses dramatically (as only Data can) "-A." As Picard leaps up, demading an explanation, Data produces a pipe from out of nowhere, and simultaneouls grows a beard ("If I stroke the beard thusly, do I not appear more... intellectual?") "Intrigung, Captain, (stroke, stroke) I can olny assume there can be one explanation. The connection between the presence of enormous size and the Enterprise-A is unmistakeable. We are within the confines of William Shatner's Ego "
<Insert dramatic swelling music here>
At that exact moment, the expendable ensign shouts in alarm as he realizes that he has lost control of the ship. His one, insignificant line spoken, the contorl panel explodes in his face killing him and the next two poor extras that just happened to be in range of the shrapnel.
"Shatner's Ego is too powerful!!! We're being sucked into it!"
"AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!"

Anybody else catch the Northwest Afternoon today with George Takei? Pointed out an incident which demonstrated Shatner's Dyson Sphere sized ego. In Wrath o' Khan Sulu was supposed to recieve his captiancy from, of all people, Kirk. Of course, the very thought that anybody should share his limelight appalled Shatner (hereafter refered to as "Mr. Ego") who messed up the scene by being as non-enthusiastic and boring as possible.
I'll come up with another scene as soon as I can, but I must warn you that such things are only rare instances of inspiration.
Mina
Oh, well..
JayDee
well, what?
and are you calling ASY from Oly, Mina?
Ozzie
That was a terrific read! I have a feeling it's going to be much better than the new tv show and that IS a compliment, honestly :)
