The recipe for monster cookies is: 1 doz. eggs 2 lbs. brown sugar 4 cups white sugar 1 tbsp vanilla 8 tsp soda 1 lb butter ( preferably real butter) 3 lbs. peanut butter 18 cups oatmeal (NOT quick oats) 1 lb. Chocolate Chips 1 lb. M&M's 1 tbsp syrup ( any kind) Cream peanut butter, butter, and sugars together. Add syrup and vanilla. Beat in eggs one at a time. Mix in oatmeal and soda thoroughly. Add chocolate chips and M&M's. Drop onto cookie sheets with an ice cream scoop and flatten by hand. Put only 6 cookies per sheet. Bake for approximately 12-15 minutes in a 350 dergree oven. Or until golden brown. This recipe will make anywhere up to 16 dozen cookies. It has never made that many for us as we eat the dough before it all gets baked. It is easy to cut the recipe in half if you want a smaller batch. This is the original recipe from my mother. We used three pound coffee cans to store the extra cookies.(they didn't last long though.) Hope you enjoy them. Now I will have to see about making a small batch one of these days since I had to think about them to type this in here. Sorry it took so long to get this out to you Dragon but I was in eastern Washington for about a week and a half. Just got back and found your message so here it is. Later.

Thank you thank you thank you thank you..... What in the world did you find big enough to mix this in? 18 cups of oatmeal??? A full dozen eggs???? My cookie making bowl will only hold enough dough for five dozen cookies and I thought that was huge!

I use the dish pan that we have. It is easy enough to cut in half for a smaller batch. I still haven't had a chance to make some but soon hopefully.

I suppose they do, though you'd probably have to triple the batch for one of those...

True Soli. You really need one if you are going to make a double batch.

I like chocolate in moderation. I don't like triple-chocolate cake with dark chocolate frosting and semi-sweet chocolate chips inside, with chocolate ice cream on the side. But I like peanut-butter Snicker's bars.
#172038 50 Sat Oct 15 11:02:07 1994 [Ozzie] Ozzie @ Line NoiZe, Ferndale, U.S.A.
Peanut butter snicker bars? Gee, I've never seen those. Where do you get those?

They']ve been around for a few years now, just about everywhere, just look for the snicker's bars that say Peanut Butter....they have the peanut butter instead of the caramel, I think....I tried one a few times.....I love chocolate but can't handle large amounts of it, & I don't like things that are too rich....'cept for friends, of course...heheheh :)
