if'n ya need a stick to take the test in, i'll TRY and have the turn signals fixed by the time you need it.... ":)
actually, i'm not sure my truck meets safety test anymore, only one back-up lamp works and if the headlights are on the right turn signal is REALLY dim..... can you say 'electrical gremlin'? i KNEW you could...
(sigh) oh well, i'll be buying another vehicle soon enough...
Digital Cowboy
Bypass you need a car to take the test in? hmm na you wouldn't like my car.

Oh, my car is street legal enough to use for the test, but I >>HAVE<< to have insurance on the vehicle that I use. Thus, the Catch-22. I'm pretty sure that I can borrow my dad's car in a pinch, but I do have several mechanical things in Morgan's workings that I want to examine >before< they become BIG problems. >=9 On the brighter side, ALL of my lights work. I need to adjust the headlights, but they work. >=9

good luck Bypass...

I just replaced all of the dim dumb old headlights with new halogen ones on my official datsun pickup and added some nice yellow fog lights and it casts suck a lot of photons! Its cool cause I can see, like past my hood ornament at night

I'm thinking of doing the same thing, and installing fog lights near the running lights on the lower front end. Seattle's known for its rain, but its fog is TERRIBLE!!!
Pssssst: Anybody want to go with me to someplace where I can skid-practice? >=9
ZooKeeper
DP -- that's a very good thing to be able to do. One must always be able to see the pedestrian BEFORE one hits them. :>

skiding is fun

Remember: Men are ten points, teenagers are fifteen points, and women are twenty points. [I think. I'll have to see that movie again. Maybe it's fifteen, twenty, and thirty.]
Anyway, I was talking about practicing skid recovery in defensive driving, but yeah, I can practice skidding for the carpeting, too. >=9
