well the old way was only for people who can count the hours they are on the phone on one hand so this is a LOT cheaper. $50 for local calls per month wasn't a great deal. now it's $13.

our service was for old ladies who don't ever use the phone, so they save about $2 a month, it's kinda funny cause our $2 a month for a couple of years was blown with one monthof real use.
