Well, well... ANyone have any good physics comments? Heard anything new?
#58 49 Wed Jan 2 09:57:39 1991 Captain James T Kirk
Anyone know anyhing about Stimulated Emmition? A very intresting topic...
#271 49 Thu Jan 3 11:41:37 1991 Blade Runner
What is it??
#307 49 Thu Jan 3 14:59:42 1991 Italian Stallion
How 'bout devoting this room to the answers to tests in Capitals Physics Program....(preferrably obtained before the test is taken...)
#1508 49 Thu Jan 10 17:37:15 1991 [Thank god...] Roya [for modems...]
Excuse me? Feel sorry for? I don't wish anyone to feel sorry for me... I would in fact HATE to have people feel sorry for me...i'm leading my life how i want, and if i want to change, then i am.People feeling sorry for me would be the last thing i'd want to have happen. I'm just curious as to why someone would feel sorry for me in the first place...

Hehehe..... If Audin nets I doubt they'd like that much, I know I wouldn't... I'm still waiting for an answer.
#492 49 Sat Jan 4 21:58:57 1992 Captain James T Kirk
Ooo.. Someone to unload my laser knolage onto... haha... Stimulated Emmition is the prosess that produces laser light.. all lasers work by the same prosess...
#493 49 Sat Jan 4 21:59:25 1992 Captain James T Kirk
I can try to explain how it actually works, if someone is that intrested...
#507 49 Sat Jan 4 22:27:51 1992 [Not tonight...] Lightning [I've got a hernia...]
Go for it... Blade'd love it...
#547 49 Sun Jan 5 00:27:20 1992 Spur
physics is kinda cool.

Ok, just explain how they accellerate phaser beams past the speed of light. In Geometry last year, Mr. Marcy showed us why the SoL can't be broken, the whole universe would explode.

ha.
#910 49 Tue Jan 7 00:16:20 1992 [naked] deadman [lunch]
(and mr marcy's one to know, isn't he? right there on the cutting edge of physics. he only pretends to teach high school.)
#929 49 Tue Jan 7 06:14:19 1992 Blade Runner
Ouch!!
#960 49 Tue Jan 7 14:44:10 1992 Captain James T Kirk
Noone KNOWS if the sol can be broaken... According to Relivivity it can't, but, under certain conditions, relitivity dosen't work... So, maybe...
#1021 49 Tue Jan 7 18:22:22 1992 Blade Runner
I'm in need of clarification. I'm no physics expert, just stuff I pick up around people. The SOL I know is the sun, correct? If so, I'm sure it can be broken, like super nova maybe... and I doubt it would result in the end of the universe, or whatever that was. The solar system yes, universe no. If I'm wrong about SOL ignore this and let me know what you're referring to.
#1054 49 Tue Jan 7 19:24:22 1992 [More loose screws] Scorpion [than a hardware store]
Speed Of Light, S.O.L.
#1080 49 Tue Jan 7 20:04:40 1992 Isis
SOL is also the name of the sun.
#1081 49 Tue Jan 7 20:04:49 1992 Isis
as in "Solar system"
#1093 49 Tue Jan 7 20:34:56 1992 [wank wank.] Spur [how do you feel about that?]
yeah, but when it's capitalized? no way. the truth is, not even physics is provable. so there. fuckers. and marcy is a fucknut. he took zied out of class today.
#1116 49 Wed Jan 8 08:06:19 1992 [naked] deadman [lunch]
how come? and don't forget "shit out of luck".
#1185 49 Wed Jan 8 14:53:25 1992 [wank wank.] Spur [how do you feel about that?]
cuz zied was talkijng to me, i guess. i wonder why he didn't take me out of class too.
#1210 49 Wed Jan 8 15:37:54 1992 Isis
Roya told me about it in Chem. she thought it was REALLY neat...
#1222 49 Wed Jan 8 15:54:09 1992 [everyday, everyday] Spur [i start to ooze.]
well, roya's a loser.
#1311 49 Wed Jan 8 22:10:22 1992 Italian Stallion
no shes' npt. she caused my gradei that class, a solid D. (In most cases that would sound lik e I was mad...but that's not my will)
#1326 49 Wed Jan 8 22:38:09 1992 [everyday, everyday] Spur [i start to ooze.]
well, whatever. actually, she is okay, but she's the kind of person that you feel really sorry for, you know? that's not good, either. pity is not a healthy emotion.
#1339 49 Thu Jan 9 06:30:13 1992 [and i] deadman [hit 'im]
(pity, like guilt, is only usefull if it motivates action/change.)
#1373 49 Thu Jan 9 12:23:51 1992 [everyday, everyday] Spur [i start to ooze.]
guilt is not useful. neither is fear. neither is pity. if you change because of any of those reasons, then you're FUCKED. Change for another reason if you're going to change.
#1432 49 Thu Jan 9 21:20:01 1992 [Fuck the stupid ref] Scorpion [That made me cut my hair]
Marcy just choses random people to hate, Ian Cornwall was that person in my Geometry class last year. Marcy would just stand there and stare at him so he wouldn't talk.
#1470 49 Fri Jan 10 04:18:38 1992 [and i] deadman [hit 'im]
spur, you misunderstood. an example: if you do something that makes you feel guilty (you feel bad about the consequence of some action), then use the guilt to help fuel your efforts to do whatever it takes to make the guilt go away. far too often, people just wallow in guilt, not knowing what to do with it. if it doesn't spur you into action of some kind, don't bother wasting time and energy wallowing in it. the same is true of pity and fear.
#1546 49 Fri Jan 10 23:20:32 1992 Italian Stallion
God, don' tell her, but I feelreal sorry for teh way Roya chooses to lead her life.
