OKay, I have a tandy 1000 sx, You know, likw yours. And i got a hard drive for it, BUT, when tandy made the computer, thay made some parts diffrently than normal IBM clones, so my hard drive dosen't work right in tis tandy. So, I'm going to put togather a normal xt clone (a normal IBM compat clone), then i think the hard drive will work right in that. Thats what i mean by Tandy's incompatibilites, there tendency to make there stuff just a little diffrent from everyone elses. As an ending.....To any of you thinking of getting a tandy, DON'T! You'll be paying for it for years! Just get a good clone.

Actually, I just sorta think there's only one room on these boards, Spur. Yes, I saw Crossroads. Some people watched the movie. Others had to comment on how the Karati Kid guy can sometimes sorta play guitar but certainly not what they were acting like he was playing. Like this person said, it does help to have your fingers somewhere close to where they would need to be if you were to make those sounds from a guitar. BTW, I've never seen Karati Kid so I can't really tell you how the kid from Crossroads does in actual break that brick with your fist exibitions.

You can change TIFF to Macpaint and then change the MacPaint to GIF but you need a GIF translator. I know they exist but they arn't that common.

I just (less than 2 hours ago) got a program that will change ANY grafx format DIRECTLY to ANY OTHER grafx format. it also reverses color, and all kinds of other groovy stuff. I'm using it to make my graphics project..

that program I am talking about isn't mac compatible. but it does more than just convert formats... it can change sizes, reverse color, (like a negative), and shift it around, like flips, 90 degree turns, etc...

I can log into GEIL (when it's working) easily. I have trouble with this board and CC. Perhaps that's because you both lack a login screen?

Well, the problem is that this modem trys all kinds of different connects that you don't have in your modem and that takes time. I'm trying to figure out how to turn that off but I haven't yet.

I guess it's not that hard to make it connect at 2400 but I have to turn off V.42 and V.42bis, MNP-4 and MNP-5 as well as V.32 and V.32bis and a bunch of other stuff like Hayes 9600 and etc.
