That's cool... Stallion, Wallaż (neat, huh?) is pretty cool... It's about the size that Oly was about ten years ago... It's kind of built like it, too... Three towns: one major town, one smaller town (Milton-Freewater, OR, to the south), and a really small town (College Place, where Walla Walla College, not to be confused with WWCC, is)... WWCC is a pretty good academic community college, with a large number of PhD's on the staff... The football program is also one of the best in the nation, which is why several CC players go on to play NCAA football, and some go on to play in the pros... I don't know if I'll go that far, but it'd be nice... Anyway, there are times when the town turns dead, but it's still a pretty nice town, with some AWESOME parties, if you're into that sort of thing...

i got something from Johns Hopkins the other day, and it had an article aobut Ultimate Frisbee..then the Outlook came out, and it had one too....it sounds pretty fun....

Financial aid forms need to be turned in in the first week of January if you actually want the money to be at the school before the next fall... otherwise if you let's say maybe wait untill the midle of Febuary the money won't get to the school until X-mas time... and if you wait until around june the money will probably be already allocated, despite the award letter from California.

wow..thanks...i know i'm gonna need a LOT of luck...1,600 applicants or something, and 800 get in....my cousin went there, and he could probaly give me a recommendation, but other than that...luck is what i need...

I've already screwed up my chances of an Ivy League school...I think I got three B's this tri...I slacked majorly...I just assumed that I'd only want to UW...but then my grandma told me why she isn't spending so much money now...she's saving it for my sister's and mine's college...if I get financal aid, she should be able to cover a lot of it...oh well...too late now...unless I get a lot of 4.0's between now and my senior year I can pretty much rule out any of the top 10 schools...

Isis..don't forget, you are A LOT more active outside of school than i am....yeah, i slacked off this tri too....i'm hoping my teachers are nice to me.....it's not so much the Ivy League school that interests me about Johns Hopkins, it's the small, and nice atmosphere...i really want to go to a small college....UW will probalby be my second choice, but it's so big.....Rice and Brown university sound nice..i don't know how big they are though....

I know what you mean...I THOUGHT I could care less about an Ivy league school, but about a week ago I read a harvard broucher and fell in love...oh well...like I said...too late now...the school is perfect for me though...the courses it offers...the early speciaization...the atmosphere...it's perfect...I'm going to do my best to get in for grad school...I'm hoping I find another school that is just as good, only less exclusive (and maybe a little less expensive)

Well, Brown is Ivy, and it's okay, Rice is in TEXAS, and is medium sized... About 5,000 - 7,000 students... And Hopkins is in North Carolina... Ain't nothin' Ivy about North Carolina... Don't worry about Harvard... It's got excellent academics, but if you're not a part of the "old money," you don't fit in... I had friends go there, and leave soon after, because they were just not accepted by their peers... It wasn't a matter of knowledge, or lack of it, but just social status...

Wait a minute....John Hopkins is in Baltimore isn't it? Anyway, Roya, Hopkins to UW is a rather interesting drop. UW is like esxtremely cheap and easy to get into if you live in this state. Rice was voted teh "best buy" for any University, and I wouldn't think "the atmosphere" is what is so awesome about hopkins..more like the fact yer a Doctor pulling big money your first year out of college! Jason Norsen is at Hopkins...(actually, he's home now) maybe if yer interested in their give Jason a call....
Mr Grant (a second year U.S. History teacher at capital (and my tennis coach)) said he saw some problems with the student status shit but he hasn't mentioned much about it. He seemed to fit in O.K. when he was there (according to him) later.

Well...like Isis had said, the first time i read about Hopkins, i wanted to go....I know Travis Norsen, but not his brother....my cousin, who i will see this sat, went to Hopkins, and harvard..and everywhere else....i'm gonna talk to him....

Jason's nice, if your interested you should call him...I don't care about what the Ivy league schools stand for, I just know that their the best for what I want to do...if I find a cheaper or less well known school that is as good I would be extreamly happy...
