Ruth Evelyn (Carr) Antonsen, Portland, 75, died Monday, April 29, 2002, of cardiac arrest. Funeral services were at 11:30 a.m. today at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, Portland.

Ruth was born Feb. 10, 1927, in Eldon, Iowa. She married Floyd C. Antonsen Sr. in 1946, and was a homemaker. She lived in the Portland area for 37 years.

Survivors include her husband, Floyd C. Antonsen Sr.; daughters, Lois Justus, Vale, Nancy Tamura, Vale, Linda Newton, Portland, Peggy McCormick, Portland, and Tracy Nichols, Rochester, Wash.; sons, Ronald Antonsen, Chet Antonsen, Portland, and Charles Antonsen, Portland; 26 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Memorial tributes may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Arrangements under the direction of Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, Portland.
