JOHN W. DEMMON
June 10, 1917 ~ July 25, 2009

John W. Demmon, 92, passed away in his own home in Vancouver, WA on July 25, 2009. He was born in Wagner, SD on June 10, l917 and moved to Washington in 1936.

J ohn was employed by the Simpson Timber Company for 38 years.

He and Margaret (Nolt) were married March 15, 1940, and made their home in Shelton, WA and later moved to Vancouver, in 1981.
John is survived by his wife, Margaret, at the family home; son, Robert and Kristen Demmon of Vancouver; daughters, Janice Demmon of Vancouver and Kathleen and David Barnes of Waterville, WA; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. 

The service will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 12:30 p.m., Fri., July 31, 2009. Visitation: Thurs., 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
