Per Nelson Quist and Karna Trulson were married in Sweden. They lived there for thirty years and then came to America. Eleven children were born to them. They are Nels, Andrew, Ola, John, Hokan, Peter and Martin. Per Nelson passed away at New Sweden, Minnesota at the age of 80. Karna Trulson Quist passed away at New Sweden, MInnesota at the age of 82.

Per Nelson Quist & Karna Trulson Quist had eleven children 3 boys & a girl died in infancy. Seven children came to America. Nels and Andrew came to America together May 1857
