Floyd C. Antonsen Sr., 83, died April 27, 2006. Services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, May 1, 2006, in Willamette National Cemetery. Arrangements were by Lincoln Memorial Funeral Chapel.

Mr. Antonsen was born Dec. 14, 1922, in Geddes, S.D. He served in the Navy and was a welder. He lived in the Portland area for the past 15 years. In 1946, he married Ruth E. Carr, and she died in 2002.

Survivors include his sons, Ronald, Chet and Charles; daughters, Linda Newton, Lois Justus, Nancy Tamura, Peggy McCormick and Tracy Nichols; sisters, Pearl Cass, Alice Hunt and Annette Hysell; brother, Dean; caregiver, Shirley Ostermeier; 26 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
